What is Forest School?

A Forest School is a specialised learning process that provides regular sessions for children to achieve and develop confidence through real life experiences in a natural environment. Sessions are designed to stimulate imagination, creativity and investigation via activities such as woodwork using tools, shelter building and Natural Art.

Why choose us?

Surrey Wildlife Trust's knowledgeable and inspiring trainers are experienced in running their own forest school programmes with a wide variety of learners, and are specialists in woodland ecology, helping you to conserve your natural environment with your learners. Outdoor Learning is a key part of our charity’s mission, so we support you throughout the course by visiting your site, helping you to run the best forest schools possible.
