About the event

Aged 16 - 30? Interested in taking action to help Surrey's nature? Then join our reserves team as they undertake practical conservation tasks to improve our nature reserves for wildlife.

For this session you will join the team removing the invasive plant species Himalayan balsam at Wallis Wood.

Tea, coffee and of course biscuits are provided along with any safety clothing and equipment you may need - just bring lunch, wear sturdy shoes (walking boots or wellies) and dress for the weather with waterproofs and warm layers.

Please note - this session is for young people aged 16 - 30 years old. If you are 16 - 17, you must return a completed parental consent form to volunteers@surreywt.org.uk before you are able to attend.

The day will run from 10am - 3pm but you're welcome to stay for as long as you like to or are able.
