The main aim of the role is to promote awareness and enjoyment of the natural environment and show others how they can teach children and young people to foster a lifelong connection with nature.

This will be achieved through working primarily with adults/teachers from secondary schools and individuals across Surrey however may on occasions include pre-schools, primary schools, post 16, special needs schools and home learners groups.

We are seeking a flexible, experienced and highly motivated individual who is passionate about natural history and outdoor learning.  A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a school or outdoor learning environment is essential together with enthusiasm, imagination and a wish to enthuse the next generation.

Although based at the Trust’s HQ in Pirbright, a full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential as time will be spent out and about in Surrey. Some occasional weekend and evening work will be necessary.
