About the event

Are you 16-30 and intrested in learning more about how to take care of woodlands? Join us for this 1 day course and earn a certificate in woodland management.

Learn more about why we actively manage woodland for conservation and how to do this safely. Get hands on experience at our beautiful nature reserve, practising techniques learnt and putting together a management plan.

This course is part of the AQA unit award scheme and attendees will be rewarded with a certificate at the course leads approval.

Note: this event is part of our Youth Action for Nature programme, which is designed to create more opportunities for young people with an interest in wildlife, enabling them to learn how to use the platforms they use every day to become ambassadors for nature.

Please note - this session is for young people aged 16 - 30 years old. If you are 16 - 17 you must return a completed parental consent form to youthaction@surreywt.org.uk before you are able to attend.
