Painting Bluebells in Watercolour & Gouache - ONLINE
About the event
About the event
Developing the variety of hues found in bluebells using watercolours and gouache can be daunting. So why not let artist and teacher Christina Rossman introduce you to some innovative ways of achieving the perfect image.
This online course has been designed to be as interactive as a face to face session. We have limited the number of participants to 10, so that your tutor can spend time with you each individually. We will be using the zoom format to encourage interaction between the students as well.
During the morning 2 hour session you will discuss and practice using both watercolour and gouache to capture the best picture of a this woodland flower. This will be achieved through live demonstrations and a few short videos. Your tutor will be able to see you and your work throughout so that she can advise and comment on your progress.
There will then be a one hour lunch break. Your tutor has found that, through previous online course experience, this break is an important way to refresh your creative juices.
The afternoon 2 hour slot will build on the techniques learned in the morning.
On the day you will learn how to colour match the variety of hues that nature gives us - in particular, the blues and purples this flower exudes . Various techniques will be demonstrated by your tutor and implemented within your artwork throughout the day. You will leave this course inspired by the beauty of bluebells and how you can express this through your artwork.
