About the event

Horsley Meadows is a SANG (Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace) and is managed on behalf of The Land Trust.

Set in a quiet area of countryside near the village of West Horsley, it has a 2.3km trail which winds its way around the gently sloping site. There are magnificent mature oaks, newly planted hedgerows and areas of scrub under big skies. A wildflower meadow also creates floristic diversity on the reserve.

Important information:

The walk is approximately 1.5 miles on footpaths and tracks with some minor obstacles and steps. Walking boots or wellington boots are recommended as it can get muddy. We will walk at a gentle pace with lots of opportunities to stop and ask questions.
