Tree Identification
Event details
About the event
Have you ever wondered whether that tree in your garden is a Sycamore or a Beech? If the answer is yes, then this one day course is for you.
Using a variety of investigative techniques, including the study of tree bark, leaf shape, fruit/nuts and location, you will become confident in identifying a multitude of woodland species.
There will be a mixture of classroom learning coupled with a 2 hour walk through the ancient woodland. Please notify us prior to the course if walking and standing is problematic for you.
