Bay Pond Nature Hub
Surrey Wildlife Trust is creating a community wildlife garden at Bay Pond. By growing plants from seed and cuttings, and upcycling things that would otherwise be thrown away, we want to show that making a space for nature doesn’t have to cost the earth.
One of our flagship wildlife projects, the Trust launched RiverSearch in 2013 to monitor and improve river health on the Wey and Mole catchments. With the help of volunteers, we are assessing and restoring stretches of river across the county to help wildlife thrive in these important habitats.
Hedgerow Heritage is an ambitious National Lottery Heritage funded project that aims to inspire and teach young budding ecologists, practical conservationists and the wider local community to restore, renew and create hedgerows in the North Downs and Surrey Hills.
