About the event

Nower Wood is a semi-ancient oak woodland which may date back as far as the Domesday Book. The reserve is also a Site of Nature Conservation Importance (SNCI).

You will also have the opportunity to take part in some pond dipping to learn more about the many creatures which live underwater.

The walk is approximately 1.5 miles through woodland. The walk will be on footpaths with some steep hills. We will walk at a gentle pace with lots of opportunities to stop and ask questions.
