Surrey Wildlife Trust and Oander – a new partnership that will help protect ancient woodland

Surrey Wildlife Trust has recently welcomed a new Gold Corporate Member to its family - Oander, a multi-disciplinary, boutique construction and property consultant based in Surrey.

As well as becoming a member, Oander has donated to one of the Trust’s ancient semi-natural woodlands known as Kitchen Copse, which will help to protect and preserve the diversity of tree species and ground flora that can be found there.

Ben Davies, Oander’s Managing Director, says:
“We’re excited to be working with Surrey Wildlife Trust to protect the diverse habitats that are found on our doorstep. We hope to inspire our employees and clients from across the county to enjoy and nurture nature, so that woodlands such as Kitchen Copse, can flourish for years to come”.

Sarah Jordan, Head of Fundraising and Communications at Surrey Wildlife Trust, says:
“We have a mission to restore 30% of land to nature by 2030. With the help of local businesses such as Oander, we can protect and preserve more of Surrey’s precious habitats - which will be great news for wildlife, people and businesses”.
