About the reserve

Hankley Common is an MoD site managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust and often used for military training. It is a great place for a walk or a spot of wildlife watching, with sweeping views of heather and gorse, as well as areas of woodland. It's a popular place to spot heathland birds, invertebrates and basking reptiles.
