About the event

For existing volunteers to join this session, please pre-book in advance using the Eventbrite booking link included in the volunteer’s weekly update email. 

What to expect on the day:

Sessions are led by staff or experienced volunteers – no previous experience needed.

A safety briefing will be provided at the start of the session. 

How long do volunteer days last?

Sessions usually run from 10am until 3pm, with regular rest breaks and time for lunch. 

What to bring:

Wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy boots. Please bring a packed lunch, and plenty of water 

We’ll keep you topped up with refreshments and biscuits! 

All tools and PPE are provided. 

Who can attend volunteer days?

Anyone can attend a volunteer day.

Under 16s, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (who must also be registered as a volunteer).

16–17 year olds can attend unaccompanied but need to complete a parent/guardian consent form before they start volunteering.
