Event details
About the event
Fraser Down is a 30 acre Surrey Wildlife Trust nature reserve which is not normally open to the public due to the sensitivity of some of the species present. This is a rare opportunity to be guided around its nationally important chalk grassland by the Voluntary Reserve Manager to see spring flowers, including a profusion of Cowslips plus some of the butterflies and other wildlife found on the site.
Important information:
The walk is approximately 1 mile across grassland with some slopes and uneven ground. Walking boots are recommended. We will walk at a gentle pace with lots of opportunities to stop and ask questions.
