About the event
Aged 16-30 and ready to learn how to identify our ancient woodland wildflowers? Come join our one day course when they are at there finest!
Join our guided walk where you will be a taught a range of key woodland plant species including wildflowers, ferns, lichens and anicent woodland indicators. You will also get to enjoy the beautiful bluebell season at Nower Wood.🌲
This course is part of the AQA unit award scheme and attendees will be rewarded with a certificate at the course leads approval. You will earn a certificate in woodland flora identification.
Note: this event is part of our Youth Action for Nature programme, which is designed to create more opportunities for young people with an interest in wildlife and nature. All events in this programme are free for young people.
The day will run from 10am - 3pm
Please note there is no bus service to Nower Wood from Leatherhead train station. We will offer lifts from the station, please request this on the order form. There is a discretionary fund to help cover travel costs if you require any support.
