Tutor Profile - Gehan Aluvihare
I was born in Sri Lanka where I started birding when I was 8. I am a huge wildlife and nature enthusiast and I volunteer for the Surrey Wildlife Trust, RSPB and BTO, in
reserve management and monitoring roles. I have been a photographer for over 40 years starting with analogue film roll cameras and processing my own pictures in a dark room. I like travelling to exciting destinations around the world for wildlife and nature trips. However I also enjoy taking wildlife pictures in my garden and anywhere in the UK. I share my pictures with like minded people on social media.
