About the event

Spend the day making a beautiful and practical tray from sustainable willow that you'll be able to use throughout the summer to serve drinks on the lawn or carry items indoors when the weather turns cold.

The welcoming and relaxed setting of our woodland education centre provides the perfect environment for creative endeavours. 

Whether you have never worked with willow before or you are a seasoned weaver, you will leave with a stunning and sturdy tray that can be used for years to come.

Some dexterity will be required, but all materials are provided.

My creative journey into willow crafting started over 15 years ago when I made my very first basket. Since then, I have perfected my skills in willow crafting through making living willow trees, sculptures, and a multitude of baskets! More recently, my aim has been to inspire more people to fall in love with willow’s wonderful properties through teaching willow craft courses.
