With a commanding view over the Weald, Tilburstow Hill is an example of semi-natural broadleaved woodland lying on the Greensand Ridge to the south east of the village of Godstone in Surrey.
The south facing slopes of the hill comprise predominately of sweet chestnut coppice with a mix of oak, beech, silver birch and hazel. A good display of wildflowers can be observed in spring and many fungi species appear in early autumn.
