About the event
Come along and discover how this innovative structure helps wildlife move safely across one of the country's busiest motorways while restoring one of Surrey's most important heathland landscapes.
Led by a Surrey Wildlife Trust Reserves Officer, you'll explore the bridge and surrounding heathland, learning about the engineering behind the project, the extensive habitat creation works, and how species such as sand lizards, adders, woodlarks and nightjars are already benefiting from this unique wildlife corridor.
The walk is approximately 1.5 miles on mostly sandy tracks with some minor obstacles and steps. We will walk at a gentle pace with lots of opportunities to stop and ask questions.
