About the event

Weaving with willow is an ancient craft. It has long been recognised as a sturdy, hardwearing and beautiful material with which to work.

On this one-day course, learn the technique of willow weaving from local artist, Louise Arthur. You will create your own small basket with a handle that is perfect for collecting berries, eggs or simply displaying fruit.

This is a beginners course, but you will need some dexterity to finish this project. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact adult.learning@surreywt.org.uk before you book.
