Taking action for nature
Surrey Wildlife Trust provides Duke of Edinburgh opportunities for those looking to take action for nature.
Volunteering for nature will help you understand the challenges that wildlife faces, whilst making a difference through small actions - such as recording animal sighting, nature journalling, building homes for wildlife, planting native species, practical conservation tasks, litter picks and many more.
1. Before you begin
Before you begin, please tell us what section of the award you need to complete using the form at the bottom of this page, which also includes a section to be filled out by your parent or guardian.
This information is required to be able to complete your Duke of Edinburgh sign off at the end of your completed time.
2. Choosing an opportunity
Once you've got in touch with your details, choose from any of the opportunities in the section below.
Once you have picked one or more opportunities, you will need to complete the required number of hours from your Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. Remember you can complete more than one category until the necessary hours are completed, and you can manage your own time to fit in with your schedule.
3. Logging evidence
To submit evidence for your DofE award, please follow the link in the button below to submit your evidence with a photo of the action you have taken.
Please remember to have your DofE number to hand, as this will need to be logged against your number.
