To celebrate a landmark birthday this autumn, Surrey Wildlife Trust's Deputy CEO Catherine Roberts will walk across the county to raise funds for the Trust - and to demonstrate that raising funds for wildlife is a great way to get fit, stay fit, or celebrate a personal milestone.
Starting on September 23, the two-day, 130km walk will help raise awareness of the beauty and variety of Surrey's landscapes and the nature restoration community's work to restore and reconnect precious habitats for wildlife. She'll be stopping off at locations including Newlands Corner, Reigate Hill, Nower Wood, and the new Cockrow Bridge which now connects Ockham and Wisley commons - and the Trust will be posting live updates on social media so people can learn more about these places and the Trust's mission.
Catherine says:
