About the event

There is an abundance of reptiles native to Surrey. Spend a day learning about all of them including their ecology and habitat. Our tutor, Jamel Guenioui, along with being an SWT Ranger is the Reptiles Officer of the Surrey Amphibian and Reptile Group (SARG) and is a recognised expert in his field. He will spend the morning sharing his knowledge of each species with you in the classroom. He will then guide you on a trip through the local heath where you will discover reptiles in the their own environment. You will also learn how to use wildlife keys to accurately identify them.

All Trust events and activities taking place from 1st September onwards will be carried out in line with current government guidelines and Health & Safety practices at that time.  As this will change over the coming weeks and months, we ask that you check regularly on the website for updates as any of these events may be subject to change or cancellation. Please help to protect our staff and other members by not attending any of these events if you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or have symptoms of Covid-19.
