Member & Volunteer Coffee Morning - Ponds and Lakes in Winter
About the event
Join Ben Siggery, freshwater ecologist to look at what happens to ponds and lakes in the winter, and the effects of ice on the wildlife residing in them. We will also discuss the importance of lake ice as a climate record and how climate change may impact freshwater wildlife as waterbodies stop freezing over in winter.
