About the event

All Trust events and activities taking place from 1st September onwards will be carried out in line with current government guidelines and Health & Safety practices at that time.  As this will change over the coming weeks and months, we ask that you check regularly on the website for updates as any of these events may be subject to change or cancellation.

Please help to protect our staff and other members by not attending any of these events if you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or have symptoms of Covid-19.

Come and explore our beautiful ancient woodland nature reserve. Usually closed to the public, Nower Wood is home to our purpose-built education centre and welcomes hundreds of visitors at events each year. Our open days are a chance for you to come and enjoy this beautiful place with your family and friends.

There will be lots of free activities are on offer along our adventure trail - minibeast hunting, pond dipping, marshmallow toasting, woodland crafts and more. Please note, the adventure trail will be set out through the woods and parts will not be wheelchair or pushchair accessible. There is a wheelchair accessible woodland trail nearer the Centre which will be open. If you have any accessibility needs, we recommend getting in touch and we will be happy to help more specifically.

There is a morning session that runs from 10:00-12:00 and an afternoon session that runs from 14:00-16:00. Please note: morning visitors will need to vacate the car park at 12:00 to allow for afternoon visitors to arrive.

Please book in advance using the form below, or we cannot guarantee you a place. This event is limited by parking spaces, so please car share where possible, and book the number of parking places you require below. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

On arrival, just walk through the arch and up the steps from the car park to the centre.

We look forward to seeing you!
