About the event

From mastering bushcraft techniques like building a campfire responsibly, to learning to use tools like bowsaws, we promise an adventure they will never forget!

They'll get the chance to try their hand at survival skills, shelter building and whittling with knives and end the day around the campfire with hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows on a fire they've built and lit themselves.

Can't make it during February half term? Wild Rangers is also running during the Easter Holidays

This event is suitable for 11-17 year olds and booking is essential. You'll need to wear appropriate warm outdoor clothing and strong boots for working in the woods. You'll also need to bring a packed lunch and a snack, and please note we are a nut-free centre, so avoid food containing nuts.

Drop off is at 9:30am and pick up will be at 4pm, so please arrive promptly so we can get straight out and on with the day!

Although adults are encouraged to drop their children off, due to staffing limitations if your child requires 1:1 assistance at school you will need to provide an accompanying adult for the event. If your child has any other particular needs, please do get in touch so we can discuss how best to meet these before booking.
