About the event

Discover what makes parts of our county's landscape so wet and why some areas of East Surrey are covered with aquatic habitats full of wildlife.  A visit to Bay Pond Educational Nature Reserve will provide the chance to find out what lives in ponds and other wet places.  Together with tutor Paul Ritchie, We will discuss how modern management is necessary to maintain this biodiversity.  We will then finish with a pond dipping session.

This is part 5 of the Habitats of Surrey - Summer Series. Throughout these 5 weeks, we will investigate how Surrey has evolved into a richly diverse cluster of habitats. Each course can be booked individually.  However, join us for all five morning sessions and receive a £20 voucher that can be used when purchasing any future Adult Learning course (Ts & Cs apply).
