About the event

Be inspired by the ancient woodland of Nower Wood and learn how to use watercolours to create beautiful paintings of the surrounding trees in Spring.  While we hope to position ourselves within the woodland, if the weather doesn't behave on the day, we will paint indoors while viewing nature through the wall of glass in the classroom.

Through direct observation, group discussion and practical exercises you will explore colour mixing to capture the huge variety of greens in nature.

Your tutor Christina Rossman, is a professional painter, graphic designer/illustrator and photographer with a Danish background.  She can always be found working with a sketchbook using pencil, ink & watercolour to capture moments, ideas and details. She is an experienced teacher who caters to the needs of beginners as well as improvers.

Please bring Watercolour paper 300 grams (NOT or ROUGH -avoid hot pressed), brushes (flat & round), watercolour paints (tubes or pans) and pencils.
