We have an incredible opportunity to secure major grants worth up to hundreds of thousands of pounds to support nature’s restoration in Surrey. But to unlock these funds, we need to match 10% of the total amount from donations. That’s why we’ve created the 10 x Wilder Acorn Fund, a dedicated pot that could unlock up to ten times its value for Surrey’s nature!

Every donation made here before the end of July brings us closer to unlocking life-changing funding for Surrey’s wild places.
Many of the grants we’re applying for come from the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). This fund uses money from the landfill tax paid by site operators and can only be spent on environmental projects that benefit local communities.
We can apply for this funding to support vital work – from improving access to nature, to restoring habitats, to caring for our conservation grazing animals. But the funding is only released if we can prove we have match funding from donations in place.
Without the 10x Wilder Acorn Fund, we simply can’t access the cash.
With it, we can unlock huge sums that make a real, lasting difference for wildlife across Surrey.

New water troughs for conservation grazing animals that maintain our reserves in great condition for wildlife
Habitat restoration work on Chobham Common to help species like the Heath Tiger Beetle, Nightjar, Sand Lizard and Woodlark thrive.

We will use the data supplied to process and record your donation. Your donation will be used to make a Contributing Third Party (CTP) payment to a landfill operator to secure a grant through the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). CTP donations are not eligible for Gift Aid. For auditing purposes, the LCF may require us to supply them with your details. At no point will they ‘own’ your data and any information supplied by us will be deleted by them on completion of the task in hand.
