Mobile Phones and Injket Cartridges
'Recycle Your Mobile' provides safe recycling or disposal of mobile phones and in return we receive a donation of up to £10 per phone. Each year thousands of people in the UK change their mobile phones but the majority of these end up in landfill sites where corrosion to the batteries causes cadmium, a dangerous toxic substance, to leech into the surrounding soil.
You can either send us your old phone or inkjet cartridge or drop them into our office at Pirbright.
Don't throw away those used stamps, start collecting them for SWT and help us raise valuable funds. Please cut them from the envelopes leaving a clear 1cm margin around the perforations and discard those that are torn, creased, heavily biro marked, cancelled or covered in clear tape and send them to us at our Pirbright HQ.
eBay for Charity
Registered with eBay? eBay for Charity allows you to list an item on eBay and donate between 10% and 100% of your final sale price to us – it’s that easy. You can also support us when buying an item or make a donation to us using your PayPal account.
Donate Your Shares
Would you consider donating your shares? Share donations are a tax-effective way of supporting us as it gives rise neither to a gain nor a loss for Capital Gains Tax purposes as well as Income Tax relief on the value of the shares.
If you have a small number of shares that you would like to donate to charity you can contact ShareGift, a charity set up to collect donations of shares which are then sold and the proceeds donated to a variety of UK charities. Although you are unable to specify which charity you wish your shares to benefit directly you are able to suggest a charity to benefit from future donations. Alternatively, transfer shares directly to us. Please call Grace Moran on 01483 795444 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
