RHUL Wild Recorders Training: Birds and Lichens
Join us at Royal Holloway University of London for an exciting in-person event focused on wildlife monitoring! Whether you're a nature enthusiast or a student eager to learn, this event is perfect for you. Lucy Houliston from the Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) will provide a short talk on bat species and identification, show you how to record bats using bat detectors, and then take you on a walk of the campus to find out which species call Royal Holloway home.

18:00-22:00 - Lucy Houliston of the Bat Conservation trust will give you and introduction to recording and monitoring bats in the UK.
We will provide some drinks and snacks for you and there will be plenty of opportunities for breaks throughout the sessions. Please feel free to bring a flask for warm drinks and some water to keep you going through the day. There are places to fill up your water bottle all over campus.
