Community Fundraisers

Full & Part Time

Community Fundraisers required to join our dedicated teams, to work on the doorstep and at venues and events around the County.

Part-time/Full-time Community Fundraisers

The Trust believes that the best way to recruit new members/supporters is to ask people directly to join and support us.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and friendly people with good communication and organisational skills to help us to gain regular long-term supporters for the Trust.

Part-Time Doorstep Community Fundraisers

You will work in the early evening Monday – Friday (minimum 3 days a week) from around 6.00pm to 8.30pm and Saturdays if you wish to do additional hours, calling house to house in an area close to where you live. This area will expand with time and a car or other means of personal transport will be required. There is no “hard” selling and recruiters will be provided with booklets to leave with the householders to be collected after a few days and find out if they are interested in supporting us. Further opportunities to work with staff at events, recruiting supporters, may also be available at weekends if desired.

This work is suitable for anyone who is reasonably fit and full training and support will be given to the right applicants. Sales/fundraising experience and knowledge of wildlife is desirable but not essential, good communication and enthusiasm are more important qualities.

Most shows and event work will be at weekends during the Spring and Summer season, however we also use year round venues both weekdays and weekends and you may need to travel for up to an hour to attend them. A car is essential for this work as you will need to transport display materials etc. to the venue.

Mark Rogers Fundraising operates in the following Surrey boroughs: - Runnymede, Elmbridge, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, Woking, and parts of Guildford and Waverley.

Enthusiastic and reliable people are required for pre-booked venues mostly at weekends from mid-January until November. Good earnings potential on a self employed basis working 12-15 hours per week.
