Dame Judi Dench Urges Us All to Go Wild this June!

International film star Dame Judi Dench made a surprise cameo appearance on screen this week - in Surrey Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days Wild challenge video! The much-loved Surrey actress, who is patron of the Trust, took time out from her busy filming schedule to record a message appealing to everyone to get out and go wild with the charity in June.

Thousands of Children Enjoy Day Out in the Wild!

Thousands of children went wild at Norbury ParkMaking friends with our mascot Billy the Badger!

Nearly 4,000 people enjoyed going wild in the countryside as ‘The Little Welly Goes Wild’ hit Surrey this weekend. The UK’s biggest children’s obstacle course included 30 exciting challenges spread over a 3km woodland route - and this year it was bigger and better than ever before.

The Trust is calling on all animal lovers to keep an eye out for the prickly mammals and report their findings on a new ‘Hedgehog Hotspots’ web page.

Race to Kit Out Classrooms at Nower Wood!

After months of mud, hard hats and diggers, Surrey Wildlife Trust’s brand new £1.1m education centre at Nower Wood is nearly ready to throw open its doors to visitors. The charity is now working against the clock to kit out the inside of the flagship building near Leatherhead before the first students arrive in the spring.
