About the reserve

This private reserve comprises of a secluded ancient, semi-natural woodland with a diversity of tree species and ground flora.

The woodland comprises mainly of oak, ash, hazel and ancient hornbeam coppice stools. Ground flora includes dog’s mercury, bluebell, enchanter’s nightshade, primrose and ground Ivy, as well as wood speedwell, violets and wood anemone.
