Inholms Claypit

This former clay extraction site is now a haven for many chalk grassland species.

Formerly a clay extraction site for brick making, Inholms Claypit has been transformed into a haven for wildlife and has Local Nature Reserve designation.

The reserve is a mixture of open grassland and young woodland and has large populations of orchid and butterfly species.
