Farncombe Wood

Donated to Surrey Wildlife Trust in 2003, Farncombe Wood is part of the McAlmont Group of Reserves.

The reserve sits on the steep, sandy slopes above Binscombe. A ancient woodland site consisting predominantly of hazel coppice with oak standards which spring plays host to a fine display of bluebells, pignut, wild garlic, wood anemone and yellow archangel.

The reserve is a great place to see autumn colour.
