Outdoor Learning for All
Surrey Wildlife Trust has been providing high quality outdoor learning experiences for over 40 years. With the addition of our brand new education centre at Nower Wood, we are now uniquely placed to offer an outdoor learning experience for all.
No one will protect what they don’t care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced.
Access to the outdoors is crucial for happy, healthy development. Research has shown that wild places vastly improve children’s well-being, allowing them to learn about themselves and their relationship with the world around them. Outdoor play helps children manage risk, interact with other people and of course keep fit and healthy.
With today’s children engaging far less in the natural world, it has never been more important to take children outdoors. Our exciting sessions complement the school curriculum, bring lessons to life and help children of all abilities reconnect with nature.
We have a huge offering of events, programmes and activities!
