With fantastic wild gift ideas, stunning greetings cards, nature calendars, gift vouchers and even a woodland Santa’s grotto - Surrey Wildlife Trust has got Christmas all wrapped up!

Please put wildlife on your Christmas list this year!

With the big day less than six weeks away, why not get your shopping off to a cracking start and give the gift of nature this year - or how about a wild Christmas party or winter walk to get you into the Christmas spirit?

“Surrey Wildlife Trust hopes everyone will think about making their Christmas a little wilder by supporting the Trust this year,” said the Trust’s Charlotte Magowan.

“Why not inspire your friends and family to discover their wild sides with our range of exciting, unusual and inspiring presents and events and let’s make 2018 a great year for wildlife in Surrey!”

Here are the Trust’s top five wild Christmas treats for the nature lovers in your life:
Gift Membership – Inspire a love of nature with gift membership of Surrey Wildlife Trust from just £3 a month. Get a FREE stunning wildlife calendar if you buy before December 15th!

Or you could get into the Christmas spirit by attending one of the Trust’s fun festive events, including a wild Christmas party, winter walk or a woodland hunt for Father Christmas.

Ditch your usual work Christmas ‘do’ and bring your office party to the common at Barossa near Camberley for the Trust’s Pine and Dine event. Chop down your own Christmas tree, make a festive wreath and enjoy a hearty lunch, with mulled cider and toasted marshmallows around the campfire. Tickets for the festive bash on December 8th from £35.

Younger nature lovers will enjoy hunting for Santa at our Christmas in the Woods event on December 9th and 10th. Explore the winter wonderland at Nower Wood near Leatherhead, toast marshmallows, play games, make festive crafts and enjoy a visit to Santa’s grotto. Booking essential - members £10 per child, non-members £13.

Or how about a family walk to work up an appetite for Christmas lunch? Join us on December 21st for a Wander Through Winter, exploring the history and landscape of the beautiful West Hanger reserve near East Clandon. Members FREE, adults £10, children £2, family ticket £20.

“Nature in Surrey is in trouble and it needs our help now,” added Charlotte. “Supporting us this Christmas will ensure we can continue our vital work to protect Surrey’s countryside, giving wildlife the best chance of survival all year round.

“So please share some seasonal goodwill and put wildlife on your Christmas list this year - if we all give a little bit, together we can do so much more!”
