Environmental Challenge Days

Environmental Challenge Days (ECDs) take place in autumn/winter and offer a day out in the fresh air that is rewarding and fun with fantastic benefits for local wildlife.

Our Environmental Challenge Days are ideal for helping improve motivation and team building skills, enhancing staff performance, morale and retention. Research shows that this kind of activity is beneficial for both physical and mental well-being.

What is included in the Environmental Challenge Day package?

  • A range of practical conservation activities for groups of all sizes and abilities.
  • Equipment and materials necessary for the task.
  • Full training and on-site briefing for the day’s task by our expert staff.
  • Tea and coffee breaks to keep you going throughout the day.
  • Opportunity to come back in spring for a guided walk to see the completed work.

You may wish to consider linking up with your corporate clients and business partners to create a larger (and more cost effective) group for your Challenge Day, making the most of the opportunities that this provides for business networking.

Prior experience is not necessary, and staff can enjoy a unique experience that will challenge, strengthen and reward them, so they return to the office relaxed and reinvigorated, whilst leaving a lasting legacy that will really make a difference to Surrey’s wildlife.
