“The best, the most exquisite automobile is a walking stick; and one of the finest things in life is going on a journey with it.”
                                                       Robert Coates

Spend a day in the beautiful Surrey woodland learning to craft a personalised walking stick. Our tutor, Barry Hendrick is an expert woodworker as well as a long standing Conservation Volunteer with the Surrey Wildlife Trust. He has sourced all of the wood from our nature reserves and spent the year ensuring each stick is seasoned perfectly, ready to turn into that unique companion for future journeys.

Once complete, we will test the walking sticks by having a wander through the private Nower Wood nature reserve.

This relaxing day is suitable for all abilities.
