Surrey is a surprisingly wet county with a huge number of rivers, streams and waterbodies such as ponds, lakes and waterlogged quarries. This course is an opportunity for you to develop your skills in identifying the variety of plants that thrive in these wet habitats and learn how they have adapted to their environment.

There will be a mixure of classroom discussion and practical work studying the plants in their natural habitat.
