Level 2 Award for Forest School Assistants training course accredited by Open College Network West Midlands

Do you want to work with Forest School Groups helping children and young people play outdoors and connect with their local environment? If so, this course is for you!  Inspire children to connect with nature.  You will be learning about the Forest School ethos, woodland ecology, games and activities that will help you to facilitate forest school sessions.

Course dates : Monday 12th March - Thursday 15th March 2018 at Bay Pond, Godstone, from 9.30am - 4.30pm daily.

✓ 4 days initial training course covering the OCN units. This includes planning for and running your forest school; risk assessment, background to forest schools. Practical skills and woodland management including fire lighting, tool use, games, identification and use of woodland resources.

✓ Portfolio advice and assessment.

✓ Optional mentoring days - a regular face to face opportunity to ask questions and receive advice on your portfolio work.

Booking is essential, total course fee is £475.00.  A £100 deposit is required to confirm a place on the course.
