Does your teenager have a passion for wildlife? 

Join us to learn survey and practical conservation skills such as coppicing, tree ID and fire lighting.

 A day in the woods for teenagers with a passion for wildlife! This is a relaxed, practical day where you can learn valuable skills by doing. We will be getting hands on doing practical conservation work including:

  • Developing knowledge of species
  • Practical conservation skills
  • Tree felling
  • Vegetation clearance
  • Use of professional tools
  • Having a brash fire

Under 18s require a consent form to be completed by a parent or guardian. Bring a packed lunch and we will provide light refreshments. It will be chilly, so don't forget to wrap up warm! Booking essential.
