Award criteria

Your nomination should reflect how your community has contributed to one or more of the following:

 
Demonstrate how you are working towards creating, restoring and connecting habitats/local spaces for nature. (i.e., managing or restoring habitats, carrying out nature-based activities, enhancing the local area for wildlife/biodiversity, and year-round seasonal considerations for wildlife).

Max 150 words
Demonstrate how you are engaging and inspiring people within your community to learn about, love and take action for nature (i.e., running community events, sharing knowledge and skills, encouraging involvement from the wider community, influencing local government with policy change).

Demonstrate how you are ensuring your practices are environmentally sustainable (i.e., cutting the chemicals, recycling and reusing materials, reducing water/energy use, addressing local environmental issues, innovative natural climate solutions/ecosystem services).
