My Birthday Swim for Nower Wood New Build

Posted: Monday 18th January 2016 by Volunteering

I intend to swim 80 lengths in one session in January for Surrey Wildlife Trust because I want to raise money for the new classrooms.

Since I was fifty I have 'swum my age' in lengths each year on my birthday. When I was seventy I made it a sponsored swim and again three years ago when I was seventy five I included Nower Wood New Build as one of my charities. I hope to do it again, if still capable, when I am eighty, but Nower Wood needs the money now! So I am bringing it forward a couple of years and hope to swim eighty lengths (2000 metres)  on 22nd January 2016.
