Ways to help

Posted: Thursday 14th May 2015 by Volunteering

We appreciate all of the wonderful support that volunteers provide, and are often asked for quick and simple ways to help the fundraising team to raise money to support projects that are close to your heart, so here is a list of ways you could help...

  • Nominating us to be a charity beneficiary at your local Sainsburys store
  • Nominating us to receive support via the in house application forms at Wilko, Santander, Nationwide, Waitrose, John Lewis OR tell us about other organisations that you come across that ask for your input into which local charities to support
  • Selling items on ebay to benefit us
  • Using your hobby or skill to raise funds, whether that be offering pamper treatments for a donation or selling arts and crafts
  • Sparing a couple of hours to collect for us at a sporting venue or theatre
  • Putting us in contact with a church, group or individual who might be able to provide a donation to us
  • Letting us know if you have an inspiring story and would consider becoming a case study
  • Taking out collection boxes to businesses who may be keen to support us
  • Asking people who are doing challenge events like marathons whether they would consider supporting us by making us their charity of choice for sponsorship
  • Telling us about any councils or committees you are on that have funding opportunities
  • Utilising which raises money for us when you shop online

Thank you!
